Dope

I call her “Dope” because she’s like a drug that I can’t get enough of

With her Black Girl Magic

She’s a lil bougie and a lil ratchet

She calls it “Bratchet”

And I think that’s cool as shit

Like DaBrat in ’94 she got “Da Shit ya can’t fuc with”

There’s no need to add ingredients, don’t cut it with Arm & Hammer

I’m addicted to this pure “Baddie” who epitomizes Glamour

Shoutout to Nelly cuz when she’s around, it gets “Hot in Here”

Cuz she’s Hotter than tha Sahara more flammable than Everclear

She makes my soul Feel like 90’s R&B

I’m hooked on her like crack in the 80’s, That Girl is “Poison”, word to BBD

She got me “Feenin” like Jodeci and I need another hit

I smoke her words like a crack pipe cuz she’s “2 Legit 2 Quit”

Her intellect is hella sexy and “She’s got that Vibe”

And she’s straight out of the H-Town so you know she’s down to ride

But shout out to Shanice tho because “I Love her Smile”

Like the entire fuckin’ 90’s, she got ya “Girl Gone Wild”

I love her style, she’s “Drapped Up” and dripped out

Got the body of a goddess, and the eloquent charm of the South

She’s “Constantly” on my mind, but she’s far from Immature

I’m tuned in to “Channel J” word up to Al B Sure

I swallow her thoughts like X, because she is my Ecstasy

Is you rollin? “Shit, Damn, Muthafucker”  “I Might be”

She’s like my “Brown Sugar,” She’s doper than Heroin

I call her my Mocha Latte, cuz her Melanin has me mad “Sprung”

She’s cooler than Coolio, and I’m in a “Gangsta’s Paradise”

Her mind is “Dangerous” and that ass is hella nice

She’s a “Phenomenal Woman” like Maya Angelou

She makes me laugh like T.P. Hearn on Comic View in 92

But she has that serious side that’s how you know she’s a “Hitta”

I love her adventurous nature, she’s always down for a “Thriller”

She reminds me of something and I’m ain talking ‘bout no jeep

When I look into her eyes, there I find solace and peace

She has the depth of the Pacific and the wisdom of the Daila Lama

She’s the type of chic you wanna take home to “Yo Mama”

And she ain’t with that drama, she’s my “Inspiration” and “Motivation”

In the words of tha homie, Jeezy, she deserves a “Standing Ovation”

I salute her, because she is a Black Queen

Her value is far above rubies, she got that “Bling, Bling”

She has the strength of Sampson and the sex appeal of Delilah

She’s my “Dreamlover” shoutout to Mariah

“If I ever fall in love” again, she’ll be the reason why

And she gives me that “Thug Love,” she’s such a fuckin’ Gemini

Damn “I wanna be down”, cuz she makes me so “Weak”

All about that “Understanding,” her communication skillz on Fleek

And she says she’s the Quarterback so I let her call the plays

When she touched down in my heart, babygirl put me in a daze

I’m mesmerized by her Beauty, she makes me euphoric like “Candy Rain”

She allows me to “Free ‘my’ Mind” cuz “Love don’t cost a Thing”

She makes my heart “Jump” when I hear her voice, like Kris Kross

Got me on some Future shit cuz she got “Too much Sauce”

I swear this girl is doper than Watermelon & Red Kool-Aid

“Don’t walk away” from me girl, shoutout to Jade

She got mad swag, she’s “Crazy, Sexy, & Cool” like TLC

I wanna get to know her better like “Iesha,” ABC

“All My Life”, I prayed fa “Real Love,” so “What’s the 411”

“If” I was her girl, I’d treat her like the Sun

She’s the Center of my Universe and I’m “Fortunate” to have her in my life

RIP to Whitney Houston, but “I’m her baby tonight”

“Every Little Thing I Do” she’s always on my mind

Sometimes she makes me want to “Scream” but her Essence is so Divine

She’s “Makin’ me High” and I don’t ever want to come down

Got my head spinning like LSD, I’m on a Merry Go Round

And I don’t wanna get off of this ride because Bae is super LIT

Her Black Girl Magic makes me feel Uber rich

And she is super thick, but I’m infatuated with her wit

She makes me smile from the inside, now that’s that Unicorn shit

And I appreciate it, because before I met her I was soooooooo done

So I’ma borrow one of her lines, she just might be tha one!

Love is an Action Verb

Once upon a time
In a land not so far away
There lived a girl, who had given up on finding love
She was a hopeless romantic who believed that true love still existed
But somewhere along the way her view of love became twisted
Because she truly believes that love is, what love does
Yet she lives in a world where to most, love isn’t an action verb
But she specializes in grammar
So she knows the naked truth
That love isn’t just what love does
But love is also, what love do.
You see both are present, but if you never had to demonstrate what love is
Then you probably wouldn’t understand how this little girl feels
With her heart so full of love with no potential recipient
You couldn’t imagine the pain she feels from the wasted time that she spent
Giving her heart to others
Who weren’t worthy of the type of love that she gives
Trying to force a square peg into a round hole
And somehow thinking that her sex appeal
Would be enough to keep those that fell into her aesthetic love trap
Who became infatuated with her outer beauty, but couldn’t identify love on a map
Those who were quick to take, but slow to reciprocate
Who were in love with the idea of being in love as long as it was in that euphoric state
But as soon as the anesthetic wore off, they left as quickly as they came
And that little girl was left to nurse her broken heart, she had only herself to blame
You would think she’d know better by now
Why doesn’t she learn from her faults?
The idea of life without love is appalling to her,
Because it’s contrary to what she’s been taught
That love isn’t just a feeling, love is about doing the work
Working through the kinks and straightening them out, even though at times love may hurt
Love is far from a walk in the park; in fact sometimes it’s a swim up stream
But it’s a journey that is so worth it all
If you have the right player on your team
But that little girl became weary
She had given love all that she possessed
She became numb to the idea of love
And put her love journey to on an eternal rest
Why had love forsaken her?
Was it just not meant to be?
Why does everyone that she gives her heart to
Just up and fuckin’ leave!
Why is she so un-loveable and disposable?
Why must they throw her away like trash?
When she was willing to give them her everything!
Why must they be so brash?
Is this truly what love is?
Heart-ache, headaches, and pain?
Silent tears on her pillow deep into the night
Ego drenched in embarrassment and shame
From another failed relationship
Where she gave all that she had to give
In the end they gave her their ass to kiss
And didn’t give two fucks about how she feels
There has to be more to this notion of love
They need to teach a course on this in grade school
Love Abuse Resistance Education
Equipping our babies with tools
Because love is a deadly drug
And we need to get high on our own supply
Because relying on the love of others to sustain you
Will surely cause your demise
Self Love is the Best Love
Is the greatest lesson that this girl ever learned
Once she got that concept in her spirit
Oh my how those tables turned
She still desires companionship
But it’s no longer a necessity
She’s allowing the Universe to have it’s way
And letting love be what it’s gon’ be

Fallen

Fallen

My child I know you’ve fallen

But it’s time to get up

I told you things would get hard

But all you had to do was call on Me and I

Would answer thee

And show you great and mighty things

You’re not just any child,

You’re a child of the King

And I’ll give you everything you need

Supply it according to my riches

I don’t expect you to be perfect

I know you have glitches

And character flaws

But you see that’s what I’m trying to do

Process you, make you stronger

Build some character in you

So that you can be a man or woman

Of Integrity, Walking in Honor and Dignity

With the power of my Spirit which lives in thee,

I’m here for thee

But I’ve also sent my Word to minister my Grace

To let you know that all you have to do

Is Humble yourself, pray and seek my Face

Then turn from your wicked ways

Because I’m already hearing from heaven

And severing the ties of your sin

Healing your land, for I am the Faithful friend

The one that brought you out of Egypt

And delivered you out of the hand of the Pharaoh

That metaphorically had you in bondage

So that you could be free

Get up my child

My grace is sufficient for thee

My yolk is easy and my burden is light

Please don’t go left when I tell you to go right

But I will forgive you

And wash you in the blood of the lamb

Remember me? I am the great I am

A righteous man falleth seven times

But He gets back up again

I love you my child and I want to cleanse you of your sin

And Purify you in the refiner’s fire

So that you can come out as pure gold

An example of my deliverance power

An epistle for the story to be told

As it unfolds in this earth realm

And the realm of the Spirit

Changing the lives of all the people

Who see it and Hear it

But most importantly those that do it

And hearken unto my word

Mount up with wings like eagles

And Preach my gospel to a dying world

So you’ve got to get up

Pull yourself together and march on towards the Prize

So that the Glory of the Lord Can truly arise

Weapons of Mass Seduction

Seduction

Weapons of Mass Seduction

Have been distributed in the land

Satan has a plan

To dump lust in the landfill of your heart

Allowing the locusts of lust to eat your flesh apart

Can the shield of your faith really quench the fiery dart of the adversary?

On the contrary

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying You’re too scary

To stand up and fight

You’d rather give in to your flesh and fornicate all night.

Oops I mean you’d rather have 10 minutes of pleasure

Instead of dwell in the presence of the King forever

These weapons are out to destroy you

Satan is roaming this earth seeking to devour

But you’re too weak and won’t even use the Power

That God gave you to kill the root of lust

You must

Really be ready to go back to the dust

You disgust

The Father with your willful sinning

God never intended for it to be this way from the beginning

You have to be holy and righteous before the Lord

Instead of sleeping with the enemy hollering “Oh my God!”

When it wasn’t even all of that in the first place

Now you sitting up somewhere worried about your child support case

It’s one of the consequences

Of riotous living

Instead you should listen to this Word that I’m giving

But you’d rather lay on your back and scream “Oh God!” for nothing

Than get on your knees and receive your true blessing.

The Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God suffereth violence

And violent men take it by force

I know you’ve heard this of course

But I think you’re missin’ the point of

This Joint

Why must we be violent

Shall the meek not inherit the earth?

Did Jesus die for injustice

Or peace?

So that strife would live

Or so that it would cease?

Why are we raising Hell

When we need to be raising our children right so that they can

Stay out of jail

And get a good education

And Grow up and be somebody

Instead of just dreamin’

Plottin’ and scheming

And really being violent

Instead of havin’ integrity

Maybe society needs to be integrated

With a cup of righteousness and

A pinch of purity

And it might bring clarity to the epidemic of Ignorance

And defeat the root of sin

That has takin’ over our

Friends, countrymen, and kin

We need a new beginning

A new birth if you will.

I understand how Elder Bernice King feels

It is the will of the Lord

That we learn to live right

Truly fight

The Good fight of Faith

If we fight with our fist

We’ve just missed

A chance to demonstrate the Love of Jesus Christ

The real weapons of mass destruction

Are the words of the True and living God

Grab your tech nine and your sword, and put on your ephod

Victim

Victim

I wonder why the worst tears are the silent ones never to be heard

Hidden in the heart of a blameless little girl

Betrayed by some pervert

Not nourished by her life support system

But nourished by her life giver

Confused as to what she did to deserve

Such bitter pain

Nearly going insane

Yet she never complains

She fights back the tears and gets used

To the abuse

It’s all she’s ever known anyway

She keeps lookin for a brighter day to end life’s disarray

The light that once lit her soul

Seems distant

The angels that were heaven sent

Seem to have been sent back to heaven

This girl is only eleven

And this has been happening since she was seven

She cries at night, yet no one would believe

In fact their minds couldn’t possibly conceive

Nor could their spirit receive

The pain that this girl has endured

Little girls are supposed to be pure, I’m sure

After all they’re made of sugar and spice and everything nice

Nice enough to make some pervert defile her temple

It seems so easy to get over but it’s not that simple

Even though her predator is behind bars

It doesn’t erase the scars of her youth

God’s truth seems ruthless

To a girl that has only known how to lay on her back

And get slapped around by a man three times her size

Sad to say in her happy meal box there was no prize

You can see the pain in her eyes

Each night as he made her spread her thighs

And she’d cry and cry but

No one could hear her screams

In a world so mean

And cold with the spirit of perversion running around so bold

In this world that seems to be void and without form

Guess child molestation and pedophilia is the norm

Right along with kiddie porn

Where have our morals gone?

Victims don’t have to become victimizers

The earth needs a re-sensitizer

We need to develop a backbone and walk in Truth

Our we’ll forever cover the scars and be victims of our youth.

The Death Walk

The death walk

Is a walk that one must take alone

Learning how to give up your right

For someone else’s wrong

Yielding all of your faculties

To your God above

Learning to be as wise as a serpent

But as gentle as a dove

Walking in God’s truth

And his everlasting grace

Learning not to seek His hand

But instead to seek His face

To be purified in His fire

So that you’ll come out as pure gold

Walking forth in God’s Spirit

Declaring His infallible Word so bold

To be hidden in His presence

And lost in his being

To walk in His dominion

Resisting the devil and send him fleeing

To humble yourself before Him

And take on his cloak of righteousness

To rejoice when Satan troubles you

Or causes you distress

To laugh in the face of the enemy

And crush his head with your heel

To give God the praise all of the time

Despite how you may feel

To die to your flesh everyday

And mortify every element of sin

To deny yourself before others

Especially your kin

To live in love and harmony

And follow peace with all

To give of yourself willfully

And fulfill God’s call
